This is a great original example of a vintage Buescher True Tone alto saxophone #230XXX with low wear on it’s original silver plated finish. It is a prime vintage Zephyr, manufactured in 1928 in Elkhart, Indiana USA at the absolute peak period of craftsmanship and quality. It has older Snap-In Pads, flexible with necessary replacements and t. His sax is set up to good playing adjustment. This sax has a beautiful edge, even response and excellent projection. 1953 Buescher Aristocrat BIG B Baritone Saxophone True Tone. Serial #341730 (129 is engraved beneath). ALL ORIGINAL KEYS PEARLS AND LACQUER W/ BEAUTIFUL ENGRAVING. Famous for its big warm sound with rich low notes. Great Intonation, easy blowing with great response. This is really a great True Tone playing and sounding baritone sax. These are the very best of the Aristocrat series. There is some minor scratches and lacquer rubbing on back side strap area. Scooby is engraved by a former above the serial 3 and a small star in engraved in the bell – see pictures. Well maintained and cared for – it was well loved during the big band era. Original case – case has wear but is very very strong and solid – see pictures. Includes 7 reeds – (3) rico 1.5 (2) rico 2 (1) La coz medium (1) select 2M. This is a great example of a rare late vintage Buescher True Tone tenor saxophone #262XXX with a nearly new complete set of snap-in pads. It was manufactured in 1932 in Elkhart, Indiana USA, at a peak period of quality as Buescher was transitioning to the New Aristocrat model and incorporating improvements into these late True Tones. His sax is set up to good playing adjustment, h. Speckling, scratches in it’s vintage relaquer finish, considering the age of this sax. This sax has a beautiful lush, warm vintage sound and strong presence. Comes in it’s original case and this. This is a fine-playing example of a Buescher True Tone baritone saxophone #196XXX manufactured in Elkhart, Indiana USA in 1926 with it’s original silver plated finish. Pads are around midlife, some older, still flexible with the original snaps and t. His sax is set up to good playing adjustment. There are scattered shallow dents throughout the sax, please study the photos carefully. Range is low Bb to high F. This sax blows very easily and freely with a warm vintage edge and solid presence.
