Yamaha YTR200AD student Trumpet used plays well dent on bell see pics

This has been used overall very gently and plays well but does have a dent/bend on the bell (see pics). Trumpet functions as it’s supposed to and would make a great first trumpet. Valves are poppy and slides move freely. Unfortunately it was dropped and hit the ground at the bell but there are no cracks or anything like that, just the twisted bend that can be overlooked but is obviously there. E Benge is a unique horn that sounds incredible. This one has been dated to after King purchasing Benge and creating the E-Benge line of horns. The 41 prefix to the 375609 serial number indicates that it is after the factory moved back to Eastlake and was manufactured in 1991. It is in absolutely fantastic shape after an ultrasonic cleaning and trip through our world class repair shop. The horn has normal cosmetic wear like finish scratches and marks. There are no significant dents or dings visible and overall is in amazing condition. It has the original case and envelope with information in the case. Getzen Eterna Tunable Bell Trumpet. This is identical to the horn I used as the lead trumpet with the Airmen of Note. I bought this one a few years ago. It’s an amazing horn but, I’ve learned that I don’t use as much air as I did when I was in my 20’s. I just can’t fill this large bore horn up anymore. This lovely trumpet is a Martin Handcraft Dansant Bb in satin silver finish w/ gold wash bell #96675. It’s in overall very nice shape with few tiny dings, all valves & slides move freely EXCEPT the 2nd slide stuck (have not tried oiling it). There is some plating wear on the 2nd slide and one of the knobs has gone missing. No exterior catches are on the case but center clasp holds for now. Includes Martin 8 mpc with worn rim. Trumpet plays well as-is but would greatly benefit from a good servicing/PC to be in optimal playing condition. Clean, classic oldie ready for a new home! Couesnon Bb Long Bell Piccolo Trumpet c1940s-1950s Belonging to Henry Nowak

This Couesnon Monopole Conservatoire long bell silverplated 3 valve Bb piccolo trumpet, number 22952, has an impressive provenance. Accepts a Bach cornet mouthpiece. While the Believed to date from the 1940s or 1950s. It certainly dates from no earlier than 1931 when Couesnon et Cie was reorganized (incorporated) to become Couesnon, S. The extra tubing gives the appearance of a lower keyed instrument. It has a beautiful tone as once said by Wynton Marsalis, who Mr. Nowak met while on tour with the Brooklyn Phiharmonia in the 1970s and remains a longtime friend. It was used by Mr. Nowak in many concerts of Baroque music at Carnegie Hall and elsewhere. It can be heard on his performances of the Bach orchestral suites with the Marlboro orchestra on Columbia Records, and the recording of the Baldassare Concerto with RAI National Symphony Orchestra. Nowak enjoyed an impressive career spanning five decades. He is the former principal trumpet player with the Kansas City Philharmonic, the Robert Shaw Group, the Mostly Mozart Festival, Marlboro Music Festival, the American Ballet Theatre, Festival Casals, Inc. With his brother, Jerry Nowak, he co-authored The Art of Expressive Playing, published by Carl Fischer. Toward the end of his career he lived in Hong Kong and lectured, taught and performed throughout the Far East. He was a professor and soloist with the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts and founding professor with the Korean University Academy of Performing Arts. He was also a guest lecturer at the Shanghai Conservatory and assistant conductor with the Vietnam National Symphony, the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra tour of Japan, Myanmar Symphony, and the Pan-Asian Chamber Orchestra, Calcutta. Nowak played on numerous recordings of the Marlboro Orchestra under the direction of Pablo Casals, who in February of 1970 wrote, Henry Nowak is an excellent trumpet player with a beautiful sound, a solid technique and an outstanding musicianship. I have known Mr. Nowak for years and he has played under my direction as a member of the Casals Festival Orchestra and at the Marlboro Festival. I have admired him as a soloist and in chamber music groups. He is a well-rounded musician with experience in all phases of his profession. His students include David Krauss, Principal with the Metropolitan Opera, and additional references include those from Wynton Marsalis, Yoho Ma, and Rudolf Serkin.
