The King 3B is a legend for its large bore and eight inch diameter bell. This trombone has been restored. This finish is new oven baked on lacquer. Oven baked on lacquer is more durable and will last longer than just spray on lacquer. The body of the Trombone is in great shape and has almost no scratches. The engraving is crisp. The slide operates smoothly. All parts of the trombone are stamped with the appropriately matched serial numbers. The Trombone has been re-lacquered and is now 99.9% perfect. Gold wash in the bell is new and about 99.9% perfect. This is a serial numbers matching horn. There is one dent on the curved bell brace. There are some very small dings on the trombone. The slide is in good condition and shows no signs of dent work. One of the inner tubes is new. The slide is a ten out of ten. This Trombone comes with its original counterweight. The case is not original to the trombone and is in great shape. This trombone did not come with this case but it is just like one that would have come with the trombone back in the day. The HN White made coffin case is in great shape for its age. The exterior is in fair shape with some very small trouble areas.
