The Legends 5C has a semi-round rim with some undercut for chop room. The width of the rim is enough to help offset lip swelling. The cup is medium deep, with a rounded entrance to the throat for improved air flow. This mouthpiece was inspired by the legendary Bach mouthpiece which is well known to most trumpet players. The Legends 5C is not a copy, though. Legends Brass has taken this classic and updated it with the Legends #27 throat, Legends enhanced throat cylinder length, and Legends S backbore. This mouthpiece is kept in stock in three blanks: lightweight, standard weight, and heavyweight. The lightweight blank adds extra sizzle for more of a lead, or’Las Vegas’ sound.
