Olds 4 Valve 099-41 BBb Tuba, Pro Overhaul & Ready to Play, Great Horn

Olds 4 Valve 0-99-41 BBb Tuba, Professional playing condition overhaul (not a restoration), Ready to Play, Great Horn!! Great 4 valve tuba. Olds, 0-99-41, Fullerton, California on side of bell. This one has had a professional playing condition overhaul which removes large & medium dents, repairs any leaks, but does not include re-lacquer in areas lacquer is removed from wear or repairs. I’m really tempted to keep this horn but I’m not playing that much & trying to be practical. There is a patch on the lead pipe (see photo). The lacquer is pretty good but has been removed from the large bottom bow when dents were removed – there are small scratches & small dings (see photos) but overall it looks very nice. Bell & valves also are very nice. This will a great tuba for ensembles, younger or older players, or anyone who is looking for a nice affordable, slightly smaller, easy to handle, great playing 4 valve horn. I can drive up to 2 hours from Cincinnati to meet you for the cost of gas if you can be somewhat flexible about when we would meet (I work retail hours that change week to week). Martin Galaxy model Flugelhorn, appears to be all original except 1 bottom valve cap does not match. Threads correctly, just cosmetically different. We are unsure of the horns exact age as the serial number does not fit into any of the data bases we have found online, 836XXX. Horn has just been serviced with all slides smooth and free. Pistons are in good condition and are quick and have good compression. Body is very clean with no major dents or signs of repair. Lacquer is good and around 80-90%, Lacquer wear at the contact points. Water keys seal as they should. Case is solid with cosmetic wear. No mouthpiece is included.
