Later, he went to Colorado State University and studied with the well respected Dr. Influenced by trumpet greats such as Bill Chase, Al Hirt and Doc Severinsen, the realization of Mr. Wise’s longtime dream was spending almost seven years touring with Maynard Ferguson. The Legends Wise rim is rounded and extremely comfortable. There is some nice undercut, which makes the. 560 inside diameter feel a little roomier than it actually is. The cup is shallow with a drop V shape. The entrance to the throat is rounded, which allows plenty of air flow for a big sound. This piece has the Legends enhanced throat (#27), throat cylinder length, and the Legends S backbore. The design of this mouthpiece is focused on enhancing endurance, range and sound for the player. This model is kept in stock in lightweight, standard weight and heavyweight blanks. The Legends Wise is built for screaming lead! Outside Rim Diameter: 1.050 (26.670 mm).
