Olds Recording Trumpet Fullerton 1959. Rose brass bell with the e. Rgonomic offset 2nd valve. Very ahead of its time. Great sound and a great player. This horn was recently serviced at J. FE OLDS & SON DOUBLE FRENCH HORN FULLERTON CA SERIAL # 933362. Used instrument that comes as shown in the pictures so please view them closely. All valves and slides seem to move freely. The instrument cosmetically has various dings, a couple large dents, scratches and quite a bit of wear of the finish. There are several repairs that have been done to the horn in the past. Bad crinkling of the bell (also see pics). One section of the silver tubing has been replaced with a brass colored piece. I do not play so the instrument has not been fully tested. By purchasing , you are agreeing to these terms. Does come in a hard shell case which is in poor condition. No accessories other than any that are shown. Again please view the pictures closely. Please read description in full. Listing vintage really an awesome player! Olds Super Bb Trumpet Fullerton California with ring around the bell. These horns are getting harder and harder to come by. All Olds trumpets are high quality made like tanks and survived well many years. This horn is not in museum condition but beside two protective well done patches in belll pipe contact arreas, a bit of tarnish and few dings / not serous dents in a nice looking horn. It’s been most likely relacquered in the past BUT has great valve compression and it is a great player. You don’t have to worry to take to school , college class room or a club etc.. As its not a museum piece but still does look overall very good and plays really really well with great valve action as well. Olds Ambassador Trumpet With Original Case (fullerton, Calif.)

The finish shows signs of lacquer wear, scratches and small dents as you can see in the photos. 6 for small dents All the valves, slides and water keys move freely. The third valve slide ring is missing. The trumpet comes with two (2) mouthpieces, a Vincent Bach 7E and a Giardinelli 7C. The latches on the case work but I do not have the keys. The case shows signs of wear. 11 The Serial No. Is 881840 see photo no. 7 for serial number This instrument has only had one owner.
