White King Super 20 alto saxophone with full pearls and a sterling silver socket neck. This first series vintage Super 20 alto sax is complete and no keys are missing or broken. The pads and corks are older and some may need to be replaced in the near future. There are a few noticeable minor bottom bow dents present and the body/neck have several minor dings throughout. The body and sterling silver socket neck share the same serial number, which is in the upper 287, xxx range and dates the year of manufacture to approximately 1947. There are scratches throughout from normal use and some lacquer wear, but most of what appears to be the original lacquer is present and approximately 85 to 90% of the lacquer is intact. Included is a somewhat used King wood shell alto saxophone case(leather trim is worn and has a noticeable tear, has a center buckle latch and one case latch spring is broken, but both outer latches catch as intended, interior is intact, case handle may need to be replaced soon).
