This trombone has a serial number in the 600,000’s putting it in the 1975 -1980 Production range. The horn is in good condition, with medium lacquer wear throughout. The slide is straight and runs smooth in all positions. It has double triggers (side-by-side) that move freely but could benefit from restringing. This horn has some scratches in spots throughout. The slide and bell are particularly clean with only a minor aesthetic scratch on the bell-side inner-slide (about third position). The bell has minimal dings, no dents and zero “bell-buckle”, the bell rim is true and straight. All tuning slides move freely. The front bell brace does not have any lacquer and was either previously repaired or originally finished without brass. When I got the horn about six years ago, there was a slight leak in the F-attachment’s lead pipe that was professionally repaired and this being the only time I’ve had it in for repairs. It comes with the original case in good condition and a Yamaha 48 mouthpiece. This horn is highly sought-after because of it’s tremendous range, great warm tone and punchy articulation.
