Yanagisawa Model AWO1 Professional Alto Saxophone MINT CONDITION

This is a gorgeous Yanagisawa A-WO1 professional alto saxophone. The WO1 is Yanagisawa’s professional instrument and is an incredible horn. Terrific live tone quality, impeccable intonation, and outstanding ergonomics are the hallmarks of this horn. Range: Low Bb to High F#. Neck Type: Detachable Neck. Case: Fabric Covered, Woodshell case with outer pocket and backstraps. This particular saxophone is in mint condition. The body is in perfect shape. Pads and action are like new and this horn is ready to play. This horn is ostensibly a demo mode, but I see no signs that it has ever been played. Pictures tell the rest of the story! Yanagisawa Vito baritone saxophone, made in Japan in the early 1970’s, in good playing condition on mostly plastic dome resonator pads that are around midlife or a bit older, still flexible, with necessary replacements. Very worn laquer finish with small blemishes, and minor dents, no effect on it’s excellent sound. Soldered low D# guard as seen in photo #11. There are a few other resolders throughout the sax. Study the photos carefully and ask questions. This sax really plays, with a bold focused sound and plenty of edge! VINTAGE YANAGISAWA LOW “A” BARITONE SAX OPHONE MODEL: 880. SERIAL # 00109755 CIRCA 1997. This Very Nice “Original Lacquer” Yanagisawa 880 Bari is just back from the shop where it received a Professional Regulation, a NOS Neck Tenon, a New Neck Cork, and is Playing Very Well with the mixture of some new Pads with older pads that still seal properly. Using information located On Line about how to determine what year a Vintage Yanagisawa was made, I’ve dedu cted that this Vintage Bari was manufactured in March of 1997. This Original Lacquer Vintage Bari deserved to be housed in a Brand New Pro-Tec Contoured Zippered Case so it could rest comfortably and be well protected for its second owner. Check out the photos of this Yani Bari, and you will see wear from normal use on this 20 plus year old Bari. It still presents well and plays easily too. Included will be a Brand New Yamaha Bari Saxophone mouthpiece. Plays up to High “F” down to Low “A”. Any question(s) you may have after reviewing the photos etc. Thanks for taking a look. NOTE: 06/03/21 – Serial Number I. Ing for Yanagisawa Model 880 Saxophones. 1997 as I noted above. The method I used when I. Ing the date of production for this Bari as being made in 1997 was based on Yanagisawa’s first method serial numbering their saxophones, which used the first digits of the serial number to I. The month & year of p roduction. The method using the manufacture date as part of the serial number changed to a more simple continual sequencing method for the 880 Models, which places this Bari being made in 1981. Legendary soprano saxophone Yanagisawa S-991. Sound that only Yanagisawa can provide. I bought it new a few years ago from an official Yanagisawa dealer in Helsinki, Finland. I thought that I can learn to play a soprano saxophone. After a few weeks I gave up. It looks like this is not for me. And all that time this beautiful saxophone is locked in the case in my closet. It is like a Porsche with a mileage below 100 miles in the garage. It never been played on the gig, it never been played outdoors. Great condition – just like new from the box.
