This Buescher S20 “Super 400″ was made in about 1960 according to its serial number (#361xxx) and is really nice condition, and still has its original lacquer. We’ve removed a couple of dents from the bell bow, but the rest of this horn is dent free. All the keys move freely and work well, and the lacquer is 99% intact. It’s not perfect, but it presents really nicely. The pads are the old style snap-in variety and all the snaps are present. The pads themselves are older but are in good condition and playable. This instrument would benefit from a full repad to put it into top playing condition. The case is in nice shape as well, although the handle is missing. The latches and hinges are all in good working order. The exterior shows minor signs of wear, but the interior looks really good, with hardly any wear at all. All in all, this is a very good looking Buescher Aristocrat. These are hard to find these days in this condition, so grab it while you can! All reasonable offers considered. This King Super 20 Silver Sonic tenor sax was made in about 1967 according to its serial number (420xxx) and is in good condition. It was made in the Cleveland factory. The Sterling silver neck and bell are somewhat tarnished and there is some lacquer wear on the body (please see pictures), but this horn is dent free and is working and playing very well. The pads are in good shape and feature oversized brass resonators. We’ve run this horn through our professional woodwind repair department to put it in top playing condition. The case is in good condition as well. There is some wear in the latches and hinges, but both still work well, and the case is in good structural condition. All reasonable offers considered. This trumpet was made in 1952 and is in really nice condition. It has been relacquered but the lacquer is in good shape. There are some signs of surface wear consistent with regular playing (see pics – on and around the valves show the most wear) but the instrument is dent-free and has been well taken care of. All the valves move freely and the slides pull easily. We’ve run it through our professional brasswind repair department to put it in top playing condition. The Olds Recording models are very highly regarded in the trumpet community. They feature a trombone-style water key for easy use, an ergonomically friendly offset second valve, a centrally located third valve slide, and a pushed forward valve section for balance. The sound is full and rich, but also has some power behind it. These trumpets just ooze quality that is rarely seen in more contemporary horns, even down to the elaborate engraving.
