Up for sale this Vintage Gretsch Pathfinder Cornet. The instrument has a Great Sound to it, ready to play. Good Compression, smooth valve action. Tuning slides easily workable far tuning. Shows some lacquer ware do to it’s age, nothing major, no dent’s. Back of the Leadpipe was professionally fixed some time ago. Overall very good Instrument. Blessing ML-1 S trumpet in very good condition. No dings, dents or abnormal scratches. Valves and slides in excellent shape and move freely, although the slides’ tolerances are quite tight. Thoroughly cleaned and polished. The (original case) has a few dings. A search suggests that’s around 2007 manufacture, but I can’t vouch for that.

Check out this latest consignment we accepted. One of many items from an estate of a reknown recording / touring musician with an impressive history. There’s over a dozen trumpets and at least 100 mouthpieces we will be offering. This very rare Viking VTS60 trumpet dates back c. 2010 or a bit earlier or later. The dark Copper finish has a few small spots of loss. Elaborate engraving on bell. All the valves and slides function properly. This trumpet wasn’t played much as Bill had another identical seen in the posted video in silver which shows heavy playing wear which will be listed at a later date. There’s virtually no info we could find online about. Viking Musical Instruments LLC. Other than they made saxophones that command premium prices. Family expressed Bill received two prototypes to take a test drive and review. I surmise Viking were considering branching out which was never realized as they closed their doors in 2017. This explains why the trumpets can’t be found for sale. With certainty only a small batch were produced so here’s your chance add one of the rare trumpets to your collection! For Bill to choose a Viking in the video over other finer trumpets he owned is a testament to the Vikings tone and response. It could be a long time before another surfaces. Out of respect for family and friends privacy of his recent passing. I’m excluding Bill’s last name but can easily be discovered in the video link. The Trumpet he is playing in the video is a silver Viking VTS60. His solo starts at the 7:00 minute mark. Afro Raw Brass Timbales circa 1980’s I think. Handmade by the master craftsman himself John van der Meulen in Holland sometime in the 1980’s pre-Taiwan manufacturing. What you see is what you get. Very rare and hard to find anymore. Just for clarification the one drum is 13″ and the other is 14″.

For sale is this early Yamaha silver plated trumpet. Renold Schilke was hired to help Yamaha with the design of this trumpet. It is generally regarded to be close to Schilke’s B5 trumpet. It is a lightweight model suitable for playing lead or most any type of music. It features a reverse leadpipe. Overall this trumpet is in great condition with only a tiny plating wear noticed between first and second valve where most trumpet players place their thumb. Otherwise the silver plating is in great condition. All slides and valves operate smoothly and the spit valves are in good condition. It comes with an original case. All piston springs are in great shape & the action is good. All valves slide with ease. Water valves springs are good and cork in good shape and sealing well. The bell & rim are not damaged and rim in perfect round. The finish is real nice. The body only has a couple small dings, see last pic.
