Trumpet KANSTUL Najoom French Besson Classic Trumpet NEW OLD STOCK. This trumpet was acquired as new old stock from Kanstul. There is a dark spot on the lead pipe close to the main tuning slide that won’t polish off, it appears to be some discoloration to the finish. It’s in overall great condition, but it will look even better with additional polishing. It has a 0.462 inch bore and the serial number is #16663. All the slides and valves move smoothly and there are no signs of corrosion in the leadpipe. No case or mouthpiece included. A beautiful horn that plays great! Please reach out with any questions. It was invented by Maynard Ferguson and Larry Ramirez and remains an exceptionally rare, specialist instrument. They were occasionally produced by Holton. From Holton catalog: M. Combination of valve/ slide. Used by Maynard Ferguson in concert and recording. Features same chasis as Model ST-302 but includes four position slide that lowers pitch by four half steps, and can be played either left or right handed. With the slide in closed position, it can be played as any other 3 valve trumpet.
