The antique Harry Pedler & Sons American Triumph Bb Trumpet is a rare and valuable musical instrument from the mid-20th century. Made of brass, both the body and bell of this trumpet are crafted with high-quality materials, ensuring a beautiful and durable piece for any musician or collector. With its rich history and unique sound, this vintage trumpet is a prized possession for anyone who appreciates classic musical instruments. This trumpet was made sometime between 1938 and 1958. Harry Pedler and Sons were bought out by the Selmer company. Trumpet comes with what looks like the original case and a Getzen 5C mouthpiece. The receipt is shown in pics 4 and 5 and comes with the horn. This trumpet is ready to go and needs nothing but a pair of lips. Great for a beginner, immediate player, or marching band student. I had to give up playing due to a lung ailment. It is a great classic horn.

Nice impression of the maker’s name on the bugle. The bugle is 10.5″ long, by 4.25″ wide. The bell is 4.25″ across and the bell opening is approximately 2″ across. Comes with no case. Un-tested, appears to be in very good condition for its age, a few minor dents here and there, may need normal servicing. The serial number is 53337, indicating it was made around 1913, making it over 100 years old. The mouthpiece is a Vincent Bach Corporation, 12. This item has been in storage for over 50 years and needs cleaning and the case has a musty smell and needs cleaning as well. Only the main latch is working on the case, but it holds well. This listing is for an Antique J. York & Sons Engraved Silver Trumpet Grand Rapids MI Vtg. The Closures are intact & appear to work. It has a lovely bit of engraving work. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely won’t have! A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor. It is in good condition, with no major damage. Has some minor denting & wear to the plate as is usual. The only thing I see that would stop it from working are two very small perforations in one small tubing area. Looks easy to patch or replace. York & Sons Grand Rapids MI. With Original Case & Accessories. Includes: 2 mouth pieces – one from York & Sons, the other by Clarke; 2 trumpet mutes; music sheet holder; 1 rod that I don’t know what it’s for, and the original key to the case. This trumpet belonged to my father who was born in 1911 and played it in high school so I would put the age of this around the early to mid 1920s. Hasn’t been played in many years. Is tarnished – needs cleaning. The case has a musty smell but still has the straps to hold down the trumpet & some accessories. Closures are intact & work. Raw Brass, very best of Olds Company craftmanship! 460 bore, great compression. Olds tri-color finish, rose brass bell and leadpipe. Beautiful instrument, is early example for sure. An outstanding player that will make a stellar collector’s piece. Valves are in great condition very little wear all slides move free.
