An American King Liberty Trumpet from the H. (Cleveland, OH), circa 1920/1921. Early serial number 49111. Original finish and includes case. Apart from some light, superficial tarnish (which may be easily rectified with professional cleaning), the instrument is functional, in good structural condition, and contains all constituent parts. Excellent piece for vintage players or collectors.

Based on the serial number M89853, this Conn Constellation trumpet was manufactured in 1969. Conn used a system where the prefix number (in this case, “M”) plus 50 gives you the year of manufacture. Stenciled with “B” on the lead pipe receiver.

This collection of screws is from a now closed brass instrument repair shop. It contains many samples of the Allied screws such as lyre holder screws (A440, 441, 442, 443, 1690), wing screws (A444, 445, 446, 448, 449, 1691,), and tuba bell screws (A212). There are also several different kinds of stop arms and stop arm screws; and stop plates and stop plate screws. You can also get a good idea of the contents from the picture that includes the upper lid of the box. The Allied screws alone are worth c. At Allied’s present prices. The stop arms etc. Would add to that.

For parts or repairs. These FLUGELHORNS restored are extremely desirable and valuable. This is an earlier, pre-war example in silver finish. The serial number is worn but reads, 60, xxx!! Puts it in a very, very desirable era! There are no water keys. It has patches throughout that appear to be made put of the same brass stock. One brace needs to be reattached. All the slides are free accept for the MP and lead pipe. The valve action is load but fairly smooth. The broken pinky ring. It has tape covering the patches. 3 are leaking w my “soap test” and actually, the horn sounds pretty extraordinary! One finger button may not be original. Moderate wear on valves. It appears to be a very fine mouthpiece? These have been highly coveted since they came out.. The right person could easily save this. For restoration, as found.
