Note- the valves will not move and I will leave it to the new owner to lubricate, etc. With their own preferred method. There is a small ding close to the pinky ring as seen in photo #7, approx. 1/2 end to end. Anything else I would call less than average vintage wear.

King 603 Cornet and original Case for parts or repair pls read Priced to Sell

I used to repair guitars and someone brought this cornet to me for repair. I do not repair cornets or trumpets so the person traded it in on another instrument I owned. The instrument has good heft and feel of a quality instrument. The horn presents well and is clean. The lacquer is good with only minimal loss and a few scratches. The valves move freely. There are a few small dings (no large ones) and the bell looks good with no dings, only a few scratches with mild lacquer loss. All parts of the horn are in place except the mouthpiece. The horn needs to be lubed and tuned. They removed the blockage but punched a hole in the metal tubing adjacent to the mouth piece (see photos). The case is in good condition… Clean and matching King brand. Keith’s Camera and Music.

Trumpet CONN 22B NY Symphony Special Trumpet #315880 & Original Case

The Conn 22B is one of the best horns ever made! The Special models are considered more desirable due to being held to extra high standards during production. We’ve known many professional players who say the Conn 22B, sounds the way a trumpet should sound. Over the years we’ve played a lot of these, and we only bought and kept the good ones. This one has some red rot in the leadpipe, however we chose not to fix it because it plays great and the red rot is mild and usually takes decades to work it’s way through the leadpipe. The bell engraving is particularly crisp on this horn, it’s hard to find one of these with the lacquer this well preserved. The pictured original Conn case is included. The case has typical wear due to its age but is in good shape. The latches and springs are functioning perfectly.

This is a bare brass trumpet which has survived the test of time. This is a very light trumpet and has a nice tone. Overall it has survived in really good shape with hardly any dings or dents and with some deeper cleaning\polishing would be spectacular. Very nice example of one of these. It currently has the optional lead pipe insert for cornet mouth pieces. I did not yank on it or put in any penetrating oil on that or the slides which will need some to release. We do not restore the instrument to an as new state nor do we know the intricacies of doing so. Some instruments will get taken apart and ultrasonically cleaned with mild detergent and not chemical baths. It depends on our time and the rarity of the instrument. We try to price our instruments fairly to make them accessible to folks. We have 24 photos to show the state of the item and if you have further questions please ask. All sales are final but i. I have had numerous occasions of this happening lately.

Vintage Late Model 1946/1947 CONN 22B Trumpet Serial #363XXX + Original Case

Vintage Conn 22B Bb Trumpet – 1946/1947 “Late Model” in excellent playing condition. Finish is worn in a few places, a couple of minor dings, and no red rot around the water keys, with nothing that affects the playability of this trumpet. Features the “clickless” valves that were common in the Conns of the 1930s-1940s. Trumpet was recently serviced, and lubricated. Everything that is supposed to move does so freely. Water keys have been freshly recorked. Played it at band rehearsal a few weeks ago, it has a nice mellow sound that really opens up when you put the air to it. This was what the professionals played back in the day. When Bud Herseth joined the Chicago Symphony in 1948, he was playing a Conn 22B. Comes with the original case, an aluminum straight mute, and a Vincent Bach 7C mouthpiece.
