King Master Model in Raw Brass 1939 Cornet w Vincent Bach 7C Mouthpiece (no case). This cornet is in raw brass (lacquer removed and horn polished with non-abrasive Flitz metal polish). The new owner of this horn has options including repolishing periodically or letting an attractive patina develop over the brass. This instrument has a medium bore and sounds smokey- great (my opinion). It has no major play, functional or cosmetic issues (see high resolution photos). Valves and slides are in good shape and operate well.

Rare, 1947 York Master Feather Touch Bb trumpet. A rare collector’s gem with beautiful Art Deco styling, in excellent playing condition. This one has seen a bit of use over the years, but was well cared for. No signs of any major trauma or repairs. It has just been serviced. Valves are smooth with very good compression. Slides are also smooth. Good valve action from the feather touch springs. Excellent vintage trumpet sound. Comes with the original (although unmarked) vintage York mouthpiece, and what appears to be the original case, in excellent vintage condition.

VINTAGE KING MASTER MODEL CORNET – H. Serial # 309, xxx. Lots of miles on this one – dents and dings and cosmetic wear. But it plays like a vintage King! Body is solid, no structural issues. All slides are moving. Original King “MC” mouthpiece is in very good condition (though needs cleaning and polishing). Classic King vintage case is in quite good shape (and it is not musty). Please write with any questions.

Nice playing vintage King Master cornet from the 40’s. Has quite a bit of lacquer wear as is usual for a horn of this age. No dents to speak of. Plays well and has a great tone with valves still in good shape. Included is a lyre and a Bach 7C mouthpiece. The case is in very usable condition with both latches working. It is the correct case for this horn but a later one from the sixties.

A Suzuki trumpet has a vibrant, warm and centered tone that will blend with any trumpet or brass section and be encouraging to players at all levels. Found on only the most expensive imported professional Trumpets, all Suzuki Trumpets have expertly hand engraved logos. Students will take pride in knowing that their instrument has the quality look, feel and the sound of an instrument that cost much more. Gold Lacquer Finish with Nickel Silver Slides. A gold color lacquer is the color of choice for most trumpet teachers and players. This pure lacquer adds to the richness of the trumpets tone quality as well as its professional appearance. To avoid corrosion, we add contrasting nickel slides. The combination is a beautiful instrument that will give years of musical performance. Long Lasting Monel Piston Valves. The most crucial part of any trumpet is the valve mechanism. These must operate flawlessly every time in order to produce the correct, selected note. Many trumpets made for student use have piston valves that are poorly polished or made from materials that will wear out quickly. Suzuki trumpets have high-grade Monel valves with expertly polished valve casings, resulting in long-lasting, virtually trouble-free function. Tuning Slides Have Finely Engineered Tolerances. For an authentic professional feel, the tuning slides move easily for proper tuning. Machined to exacting tolerances, much attention has been given to this area of the trumpet manufacture. Two finger ring hooks are placed to properly and comfortably fit the student level player’s hand. Additionally, Suzuki trumpets feature 2 water keys that allow for easy removal of condensation throughout the entire instrument, making for a cleaner sound and easy tone production. Rugged Aluminum’Roadie’ Cases. Indestructible, lightweight and’hip’ looking, every music student will be excited and proud to carry their chosen instrument in a Suzuki’Roadie’ style case. Its special construction will protect the instrument for many years. Unlike a soft case which exposes the instrument to damage, our strong aluminum frame and custom formed soft foam interiors provide the ultimate choice for long term use.
