RARE SPECIMEN BUESCHER 400 LP #332xxx also stamped 225 on lower 2nd casing AND ORIGINAL CASE WITH EMBLEM Buescher True Tone. This one is from the earlier days of this model. GREAT VINTAGE DESIRED AND COMPARABLE TO MARTIN COMMITTEE MADE DURING SAME ERA AS MARTINS. THIS RARE DEAL is for Buescher the RARE ORIGINAL 400 LP TRUE TONE Bb trumpet! These horns are overall rare and hard to find. Description : The 400 BUESCHER great jazz horn made in the great golden era of Elkhart Ind horn plants circa 1940s/50s please check online records and sites if you wish exact date manufacture. Serial #332xxx Appears to be original lacquer with very crisp name and bell engraving. There is some wear in contact points around the horn and scratches from age but overall it’s in very good condition and mechanically perfect ready to play. PLEASE SEE ALL PICS! These horns were made from great brass. Overall lacquer is very good and it’s all original factory horn, please see photos for the full story but please disregard white spots as these come from my day time window. 2nd slide has reversed construction as 1st and 3rd slides innovative for this period. Valves are very good with awesome compression. Overall great jazzy horn has great tone and ready to play! Bell is 4.65 also features spit valve on 3rd slide as well. Don’t see repairs on bell flare or any resolders. Comes with original case original to the horn as well as original lyre great to use outdoors. Awesome playing early 8, Nuescher True Tone Aristocrat tenor saxophone in original worn laquer finish and bare brass. It is set up and ready to play on snap pads, older than midlife but still flexible, with necessary replacements. Plenty of wear, small dents and scratches on this 83-year-old instrument. Repaired and resoldered low D# guard as seen in photo #8, no effect on the excellent sound and response of this great sax. Solid presence and edge! 1947 Conn 10M Naked Lady Tenor Saxophone, Rolled Tone Holes

Photos are 2500 X 2500. Serial number 320520 dates the horn to 1947. Old lacquer refinish has scratches but overall is in good condition. The refinish was well done. Careful buffing left the tone holes undamaged and the engraving crisp and sharp (for a refin). Pads are soft, not discolored or deteriorated, but are old. I don’t play sax so I can’t comment further the pad’s condition. Best to assume the pads need replacing. The body has some very small, shallow dings, nothing large or deep. The neck is a little worse. It has small dents as well, the octave key posts are slightly pushed in, and the angle has been bent lower, either on purpose or from damage. Are engraved in small font below the serial number. The case smells pretty bad, otherwise in excellent condition. It appears to be old but not old enough to be original. Includes sax and case. Saxophone has The Buescher Elkhart, Ind. On the back heel like area of the saxophone it has the number 134633 True-Tone Trade Mark Registered Low Pitch License Pat. Mouthpiece is in the compartment box with some other accessories. Case outside shows age/use/storage wear as well but is in good condition. Has Buescher Elkhart Ind. Opens and closes well, latches on front work. Missing the strap handle. Interior shows wear from age/use /storage. Purple felt like material.
