Conn “New Invention” 4 Valve BBb Tuba, 1913: This horn is in remarkable condition. A few insignificant dings and a crease in the bell. As with all of the of Conn’s, the F below the staff is flat, but improves as the horn warms up. Otherwise, the character of the horn rivals any BBb that I’ve ever played… Truly amazing response and feel. It appears to have been overhauled on some level at some point, and the lead pipe is not original. The plating on the valves looks to be 100% in tact. This is a fantastic deal on an instrument of this caliber and condition. Reasonable offers will be considered.
