1954 Reynolds Contempera Trumpet.
This is in amazing condition and plays and sounds great. All the valves and slides move smoothy. One small ding on lead pipe shown in the pictures. If you have any questions or want more pictures please ask. Always open to offers specs below. Ith nickel-silver slide tubes, upper. Trumpet with first-valve trigger. Bell: 4-3/4, bronze alloy with nickel-silver tone ring. Materials: brass body with nickel-silver slide tubes, upper valve casings (balusters) and trim. Valves: top-loaded, inner-spring valve pistons. Finish: polished brass finish with epoxy.

1944 Reynolds Contempora Trumpet with 1st valve Trigger & Original case. Model 40 Large bore. 464 trumpet with first valve trigger. 4 5/8 bronze alloy bell with nickel silver tone ring (Kranz). Brass body with clear lacquer (appears to have been reapplied- not perfect) Monel valves that move freely- no sticking. Minimal scratches and dents. Here is a wonderful Reynolds’Stereophonic’ Contempora bass trombone in near mint condition. Built in Abilene, Texas, the instrument has serial number 242 dating it to 1968 – 1969. It has a glorious, deep red 10 bell and two dependent valves with extension slide on the second valve giving Bb – F – D. Completely dent-free with no lacquer wear at all. Valves 100% smooth with short fast action. Slide is pretty good not as good as my old Conns though… This fine instrument has a wonderful dark sound with great carrying power and not stuffy at all in the lower register. The instrument is currently in The Netherlands. Exact price depends on destination. Can also deliver personally to a London address, anywhere in The Netherlands / northern Belgium and NW Germany.
