Mid 1930s Martin Imperial Handcraft #2 Bore Bb Trumpet. The finish is excellent with a few scuffs. Light blemishesaroundthe bell rim. Light wear on the valves. It comes with what I believe is the original case. Also a high-quality screw rim, custom mouthpiece. The second is Getzen in fair condition. A Mute is also included and the original Martin care card! The M opens up and is a brochure. It gives you information on how to care for your new Martin trumpet!! I haven’t seen many. Very nice playing and looking Martin. Premier Dominion Vintage Snare Drum 1920s 1930s Brass Cast Hoops 14 x 6.5. This snare drum came to my possession as a non functioning instrument. Ive done some work to get it up and running but it still needs a bit of work to get it fully serviceable. I believe this to be a premier dominion snare drum from the mid to late 1920s. It would have originally been lacquered white. That finish is long gone. The brass is still good despite its blemishes. The baring edges are sound. Cast hoops seem ok although the chrome is a little worse for wear. The parallel snare mechanism is intact but a bit weak feeling. Ive not spent long on this. I was pleased to find that it worked but it could do with attention. It holds modern snare wires ok but will need some parts milling if you want to attached traditional snare wire. This shouldnt be hard to do. Id keep this drum and get to working on it one day but I have a busy schedule and Im contracted to another drum company so not technically supposed to play premier. Snare Drum with original soft case. Can be tuned high to low. Just as loud as a Supraphonic. Original snare strainer, n. The Remo heads are only a couple of. Rims are stick chopper hoops. Mall wear spot the size of a quarter coin where the brass shows through see added pic. It is an 80+ year-old drum so there is, of course, some wear but overall it’s in great shape for its age. The original soft case that’s included has the original owner’s name written on the top portion (see new pic) as well as the word “Top” in large letters to denote which side is up, but hey, most of these drums don’t come with a case at all, let alone the original vintage case! Does not have “Ludwig” logo on drum which I have been told is not uncommon for Ludwig snares at thie time. He takes meticulous care of his equipment and maintained this snare well, so it was used but never abused. A great deal on an amazing, vintage Ludwig NOB. Snare drum with original vintage case! Vintage 1930’s Ludwig ” Vintage ” Nickel over Brass 15″ diameter x 5″ deep Snare Drum , 8 Lug , Clip Mount , Tube nickel plated lugs , All Original Drum. Not only do I believe , they Are to be along with nickel plating on hoops too , it seems to be shell plated the same as the other plating which looks like nickel to me and which is nickel , it has catgut snares wires also snare throw of is in excellent working condition. The snare Gut Wires are tight and no discrepancies there. The Case is a vintage Leedy Case , unlined with a strap I added to secure the case closed. The original leather strap has deteriorated. Please look at pictures for the fore mentioned. I have thoroughly cleaned and polished every part of this drum , all lugs individually cleaned and polished , all tuning screws cleaned & polished , threads graphite , one extra year correct tube lug included [as extra part]. This is a 2 piece shell , Not only do I believe , it IS seemed at the middle of the shell just like the black beauty, Look at the inside shell picture you will see. No additional holes , it has some minor scratching that is difficult to see from close , although there is 2 small dents as seen in the pictures , one small round dent is below the Ludwig script to the bottom left next to where the tube lug bolts to the shell , the other small round dent is above to where the catgut wires are attached to the drum opposite side of strainer. If you need additional pictures contact me I was told by a fellow drummer that this was a 1927 special order drum , do your research.. After thoroughly polishing this drum and putting it back together , I further tuned it up and played on it a little , WHAT AN INCREDIBLE SOUND , FAT SOUNDING , EVEN WITH THESE CATGUT SNARES , DIFFERENT SOUNDING VOICE OF THIS BELL BRASS SNARE DRUM , MAN OH MAN , IT SOUNDS SO COOL , THIS SNARE DRUM COMMANDS ATTENTION!
