I have for sale a legendary Kanstul French Besson Meha. 470 bore trumpet in laquer finish. All slides move freely. Valves are Kanstul fast. Lead pipe is super clean. There are no dents. There are a few misc, dings and scratches but are too small to show up in a photograph. Valve compression is very strong. I believe the laquer is not original. No case or mouthpiece. Kanstul USA 1510-A C Trumpet Bright Silver Plate Finish Used Great Condition

This listing is for a Kanstul 1510-A C trumpet. It was given to my daughter by her music teacher, but she no longer plays it and it makes me sad that it just sits in the closet. My dad (who is a music teacher) says that the horn is in good condition and ready to play. There are no dents on the horn anywhere, just some small scratches. My daughter loved the bright silver plate finish of this instrument. The description of the horn on the Kanstul website is as follows. The Model 1510-A is a conventional C trumpet, with the widely popular no. 229 bell, making it an excellent choice for the soloist or section player. Agility and expression are hallmarks of this model. A special hidden reverse mouthpipe allows traditional bracing, giving it an even feel in all registers. The intonation is superb throughout. Zig Kanstul-made ZeuS Guarnerius Bb trumpet with mouthpiece and case. A handguard is included. This horn has been used sparingly the past year, on only two gigs and several practices. The finish is tri color, with a one piece hammered copper bell, trimmed in silver and brass lacquer. Turquoise valve buttons really set off the appearance. Water keys on tuning and third slide. Saddle on first valve slide and ring on third valve slide with adjustable stop allow for ease of tuning as you play. The case is the factory ZeuS soft case, and the mouthpiece is a Kanstul clone of the Schilke M6. The horn comes with the standard tuning slide as well as an optional D ring. I prefer the D ring with the M6, but it is nice to have the option to rotate based on your needs. This instrument is flawless, and could pass for new. The pics tell the story. I have owned several Strads over the years (Models 25, 37, 43) and this horn, which is a clone of the legendary Mt. Vernon Bach Stradivarius, hangs with all of them. My loss is your gain.
