Vernon Stradivarius # 18060. This horn is in very good shape with plenty of compression. Theres some outer wear on the leadpipe, but do not believe it is red rot. Theres also a small area of wear on the 1st valve casing where it appears a first valve slide trigger was added then removed (not a patch). The valves are original and are very smooth. The first bottom valve cap does not appear to be original and the valve top finger buttons have been replaced, but I do have the originals and will send. The valves have recently been aligned by Bob Reeves. The 3rd valve slide also works great. Also, not sure of the exact manufacturing date. I was told it was a 54 when I bought it, but further research leads me to believe it might be closer to a 1959. Overall, an excellent playing trumpet with a great sound and good intonation.
