Here is a nice Reynolds Contempora professional trumpet. The serial number is 60434 ML. I believe it is from the 1960s. This horn was a frequent choice of professionals for exceptional projection and carrying power in all dynamic levels. Easy-action solid monel-nickel valve pistons for longer wear. Nickel-silver slides, trim and tone ring; bronze alloy bell. First-valve trigger for more precise control over intonation. The valves and pistons are slick and still work well. The horn is in very good condition overall. There are two noticeable flaws: one is that the bell must have been bent at some time. The bell was straightened but not refinished. It is blemished and not entirely smooth (see pic). There is also a ΒΌ dent in the end of the horn where it was dropped (see pic).
