I like to remain objective, but the viewer needs to know, this horn is a great player from top to bottom. The slide is very smooth. As both a woodwind player and a brass player of many years, this is a tremendous horn that shows only very minor cosmetic deficiencies. The serial number is, I believe, 4338982 followed by perhaps one more number, but it appears almost more like a degree symbol. It’s a bit worn in this area and it is a bit difficult to read. This is wear the slide nut lock goes and of course, it wears there. It would appear the trigger may have, at one time, had some damage to it that has been, it appears, professionally repaired. Please see that photo. There are some other areas of lacquer wear and corrosion that I tried to capture in photos as well. The case is in good, functional condition. All hinges and latches work.
