Conn 88H Artist Symphony Trigger Trombone. This will make a nice playing trombone for a comeback player or advancing student who isn’t concerned with looks and cosmetic blemishes. The trombone is not pretty. There is very little lacquer left. There are dents, the worse is in the crook of the tuning slides (see last photo). There are solder marks and scaring from past dent removal. There is a small crack in the inner slide which can be viewed in photo 11. The slide has a nice feel and is smooth without catches. The trigger is also smooth and highly functional. The red brass bell produces a full open lyrically sound. Included is a newer Schilke 51D large shank mouthpiece. The case is original but is in very bad condition. It will hold the trombone but is not a case for long term use.
