Alexander F/Bb Double French Horn with Detachable Screw Bell. New Alex 1103 gold brass leadpipe. All valves & slides work well. According to a company rep, this Alexander horn dates from the 1950’s. It has a Knopf wrap like the current Alexander model 200. This horn is in very good condition. It is completely unlacquered. This horn was totally reconditioned by John Mason, a horn specialist in Los Angeles. All 4 valves were overhauled / replated, the leadpipe was replaced with a factory Alex 1103 gold brass lead pipe, and all leaks were fixed. The horn is working well and has a nice mellow sound. All valves and slides are free and working. Valve compression is good. As an older instrument, it does show minor dings and scratches from years of use. No case is included.
