This Almost 60 year old Beautiful drum has 10 lugs per side, is Chrome over Brass (COB) & is Model #400. The tell tale signs that this is a Super Ludwig COB. Correct Pre Serial # Keystone. Badge with fold, Has 2nd shorter flange on both 45 degree bearing edges, Crimped shell beds, Lugs are the older Imperial version, Brass is visible on many of the factory drilled holes, The weight of the shell is 9lbs & 10.4oz. Cosmetic: This drum is a players dream… Lots of scratches & one little BB sized ding. There are also scratches made by heads rubbing on the shell but are not visible with the heads on. There is one small extra hole at the bottom of the strainer. If your not looking carefully you wouldn’t even know its there. The snare wires are modern day Puresound.
