King 2104 4B Professional Large Bore Trombone. This model has been a popular professional trombone for decades. It offers a very open rich lyrically sound with strong projection. The main slide has a nice feel and the trigger is smooth and quick. Included is a used case which shows wear but is structurally sound and a used Yamaha 48 mouthpiece in good playing condition. It has been hard for me to determine the age. I was able to conclude that the 2104 was introduced in the 1960’s. My guess would be that the trombone was manufactured in the 1970’s. The trombone has cosmetic blemishes which include areas of missing lacquer, evidence of past dent removal, light scratches, pings and normal wear There are no large dents and the majority of the lacquer is intact.
