1930’s Olds Super trumpet #77XX made in Los Angeles. It plays very well – even in all registers. What’s missing or not original. 1st and 3rd slide push rods and screws are replacements for missing originals. A-rod assembly and screws are missing, although the original mounts are still there. The valves were nickel plated at some point; there’s pretty good compression, but it’s loose enough for Hetman #3 or BerpBioOil #3. There is a nickel patch on the bell crook at the first valve casing. Someone tried removing the 3rd water slide with a blunt instrument, so there is a dent inside the crook. It doesn’t leak. There is a “precision valve alignment” for the pistons. It checked out, in terms of how the valves port, so I left it alone. I’ve polished the horn.
